Abstract
Neuroendocrine carcinoma of the bladder is a rare histological entity, characterized by an early spread of metastases and an unfavorable course despite treatment. Due to its rarity, there is no consensus to date. Its management must be multidisciplinary, combining surgery, chemotherapy and or radiotherapy. We report the observation of a 75-year-old patient who presented with neuroendocrine carcinoma of the bladder treated by transuretral endoscopic resection of the bladder followed by chemotherapy after multidisciplinary concertation meeting. We discuss its epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic characteristics, followed by a review of the literature.
