DYSPLASIE RÉNALE MULTIKYSTIQUE ET ECTOPIE CROISÉE SUR REIN GAUCHE, COMPLIQUÉE DE SURINFECTION. A PROPOS D’UN CAS OBSERVE AU CHU DE KAMENGE

Résumé

Nous rapportons l’observation d’un nourrisson de 4 mois suivi pour une dysplasie rénale multikystique compliquée  de surinfection sur un rein ectopique croisé dont le diagnostic était posé en anténatal et confirmé en post natal.

La NFS montre une hyperleucocytose à 16.000 à prédominance polynucléaire neutrophile.

Le traitement était chirugical et consistait à une néphrectomie gauche du rein ectopique croisé multikystique; l’examen bactériologique du liquide kystique était d’aspect trouble, purulent et avait isolé Escherchia coli sensible au Céfotaxime.

Les suites opératoires avaient été simples et la sortie lui avait été autorisée à J10 post opératoire.

SUMMARY

We report the observation of a 4 month old infant followed for a multicystic renal dysplasia complicated by superinfection on a crossed ectopic kidney whose diagnosis was made in antenatal and confirmed in postnatal period.

The blood test shows a 16,000 leukocytosis predominantly neutrophilic polynuclear.

The treatment was surgical and consisted of a left nephrectomy of the multicystic crossed ectopic kidney; the bacteriological examination of the cystic fluid was cloudy, purulent and had isolated Escherchia coli sensitive to Cefotaxime.

The post-operative follow-ups were simple and he was allowed out on D10 post-operative.

Our study focuses on the management of an extremely rare case of multicystic dysplastic kidney complicated on an ectopic cross-over kidney
